International private equity firm Cinven this month announced it reached an agreement to acquire Archer from RSA Security. It sought after Archer because of its position as a market leader, according to the April 13 announcement by Cinven.

Archer users will not be impacted by the acquisition. Cinven said it will “support the long-term strategic growth of Archer’s integrated software platform as a standalone business following the initial carve-out from RSA Security.” Furthermore, it plans to grow product sales by further “internationalizing the business, including executing opportunities to expand Archer’s presence in key markets and verticals across both North America and Europe.”

Karta has a 20-year relationship with Archer and supports many enterprise-level organizations with their Archer solution. If you have any questions about this acquisition, don’t hesitate to email us.
